Job description

Equipment Management Service and Repair (EMSAR) is a fast-growing national technical services company supporting leading healthcare equipment manufacturers. We are seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical equipment at customer sites.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with technical, mechanical, biomedical, electronics, or field service experience who want to grow their career in the healthcare technology industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of medical and laboratory equipment
  • Install and configure medical devices, diagnostic equipment, and kiosk systems
  • Conduct equipment testing, verification, and performance validation
  • Complete software upgrades and warranty repairs on patient monitors and ventilators
  • Support FDA field change orders (recalls) and compliance requirements
  • Document service work and manage work orders using ServiceMax service management system
  • Coordinate with dispatch teams and customers to schedule service calls
  • Provide professional on-site technical support to healthcare facilities

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus 2-4 years technical experience

OR
  • Associate degree or technical/trade school certification
  • 1+ year of technical, mechanical, or field service experience

Preferred backgrounds include:
  • Field Service Technician
  • Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET)
  • Electronics Technician
