About the Opportunity
As a Facility Manager at EMR, you'll support our NEW non-ferrous warehouse facility and help grow our operations. You'll lead a dedicated team and represent EMR to local customers. You'll also oversee safety, material processing, inventory, and shipping to ensure daily operations run efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily non-ferrous yard operations, including receiving, processing, inventory management and shipping materials
  • Lead, train, and support yard staff to maintain safe, productive and efficient operations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers through reliable service, accurate pricing, and material quality
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards

Qualifications
  • Management/supervisory experience of daily operations
  • Hands-on experience operating equipment and machinery
  • Experience leading a team and committed to developing employees
  • Ability to learn our proprietary software

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the recycling or demolition industry
  • Knowledge of scrap metal commodities
  • Microsoft excel skills
