Bilingual Medical Assistant (Clinical & Front Office Support)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay:$21/hour–$23/hour
Location: Sarasota, FL
We’re hiring a Medical Assistant to support daily clinical and administrative operations in a busy outpatient setting. This role is safety-sensitive and includes direct patient care, medication administration, and front desk responsibilities. You'll report to the Office Manager and work closely with providers to ensure a positive patient experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesRoom patients, gather medical history, and record vitals in EMR
Assist with exams, procedures, injections, and in-office testing
Draw blood, process specimens, and perform CLIA-waived lab tests
Provide patient education and support during visits
Clean and stock exam rooms; maintain medical supply inventory
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and check patients in/out
Document services and manage records accurately in the EMR
Assist with onboarding new staff and support other tasks as needed
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred (RMA or CMA)
At least 1 year of experience in a clinical MA role
CPR, IV start, and phlebotomy certifications preferred
Proficient in EMR, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
Reliable transportation required
Physical RequirementsAble to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 15 lbs for prolonged periods
Manual dexterity and vision/hearing within normal range
