Medical Assistant – Prescott, AZ

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join one of our valued healthcare clients in Prescott, Arizona. This is a full-time, onsite contract opportunity with the potential for extension.

Position Details

  • Location: Prescott, AZ (Onsite)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Pay: $21.00–$23.00 per hour
  • Assignment Type: Contract with potential for extension

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, symptoms, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Assist healthcare providers during patient exams, minor procedures, injections, and treatments.
  • Collect, label, and prepare laboratory specimens while following established safety and infection-control protocols.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription requests.
  • Educate patients on provider instructions, medications, and follow-up care as directed.
  • Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and ensure medical equipment and supplies are stocked and ready for use.
  • Accurately document patient care, procedures, and communications to support quality care and billing requirements.
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to promote efficient daily clinic operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a physician office, clinic, or outpatient healthcare setting.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
