Job description

This role is for a proven leader ready to take full ownership and drive excellence in the execution and development of our most significant architectural projects. You won't just manage a project; you will be the visionary force connecting the client's needs to the team's potential and the company's reputation.

Your Core Mission: Impact & Leadership

You will act as the primary strategic representative of the firm, leading the procurement and successful delivery of diverse architecture projects. Your influence will extend beyond the balance sheet and schedule—you will actively shape the development of your project teams and elevate the quality of our built environment. We seek individuals who embody passion, integrity, and relentless drive for collaboration and excellence.

Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas

Executive Project Ownership

  • Secure and Define Scope: Own the project's inception, from estimating the scope of work to determining accurate fees.
  • Full Execution Accountability: Drive the project from concept to completion, ensuring every detail not only meets but exceeds client expectations and established standards.
  • Administrative Command: Oversee all major administrative components, including contracts, financial billing, and coordination with the administrative team.

Client & Consultant Leadership

  • Cultivate Key Relationships: Serve as the principal point of contact for the client, building the trust and rapport that leads to future partnerships.
  • Orchestrate Project Partners: Act as the central communicator, efficiently coordinating and aligning project consultants to ensure seamless integration.

Team Empowerment & Mentorship

  • Shape Future Leaders: Mentor and actively empower Junior Project Managers to grow into senior leadership roles.
  • Guide and Direct: Lead project team meetings and provide clear, decisive guidance on assignments, processes, and technical conformance.
  • Drive Process Excellence: Maintain meticulous oversight of the project schedule and progress, ensuring all teams are operating at peak efficiency.

The Expertise You Bring

You possess a superior level of technical knowledge—you understand not just what to build, but how buildings are truly put together.

  • Technical Authority: You are fluent in Building Codes, confident in meeting with Building Officials, and skilled at resolving complex code-related issues.
  • Inspirational Communicator: You communicate effectively with staff, clients, and partners, building consensus and excitement around project goals.
  • Professional Background: While licensure is a plus, your experience and proven ability to lead complex projects are the essential credentials.

Your Leadership Style

This role is perfect for a leader who is Fluent, Lively, and Enthusiastic—someone who naturally connects with people in a friendly and personable manner.

  • Persuasive Drive: You excel at using persuasive communication to gain the interest and deep involvement of others.
  • Conscientious & Precise: You couple a sense of urgency with an unwavering commitment to thorough, accurate detail.
  • Integrity-Driven: You are motivated by a strong sense of duty and responsibility to complete work quickly and correctly, ensuring rigorous follow-up on all delegated tasks. You make careful, grounded decisions that uphold company policy while seeking input and ideas from your team.
