Position Summary
The Club Sports Assistant will support the daily operations and administration of the Club Sports Program at the University of New Mexico. Working under the Club Sports Operations Specialist, this role assists in managing 20-30 active sport clubs, supporting club officers, organizing events, and maintaining compliance with university policies.
-Serve as a point of contact for club officers, answering questions and guiding them through university policies and procedures
-Assist in processing club paperwork (rosters, travel forms, budgets, event requests, etc.)
-Help monitor and track club compliance with training requirements, travel reports, and attendance
-Maintain and organize digital and physical records of club activities
-Provide support at club events, competitions, and Club Sports Day as needed
-Assist with logistics, inventory management, and equipment distribution
-Support club marketing and promotion efforts in collaboration with the Marketing Specialist
-Help onboard new clubs and facilitate officer trainings
-Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Club Sports Operations Specialist
