Title: RN Manager – Progressive Care


Location: Southeast Florida


Schedule: Full-Time, Mixed (No Weekends)


Compensation: $81,000 – $116,500/year (based on experience)


Position Overview

A large acute care hospital is seeking an RN Manager for Progressive Care to oversee daily operations of the unit, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This role manages staffing, monitors clinical outcomes, and supports operational excellence with ~50 FTEs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Progressive Care unit, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-focused care
  • Monitor compliance with hospital policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Coach and develop nursing staff, fostering professional growth
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and unit-based committees
  • Support recruitment, retention, and performance management of staff
  • Oversee unit performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives


Required Qualifications

  • Current RN license in practicing state or recognized compact license
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • ACLS and BLS required (or to be obtained within 30 days of start)
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care clinical nursing experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a full-time Charge Nurse, Coordinator, or Nursing Supervisor
  • Recent acute care experience required (Telemetry, Step-Down, or Critical Care)
