This role provides day-to-day HR support to employees and managers by managing and interpreting policies, resolving HR inquiries, supporting employee relations processes, and ensuring consistent and compliant application of HR practices.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Employee Support & Service
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, programs, and employment questions.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and consistent HR guidance while maintaining a focus on employee experience.
  • Assist employees with navigating HR self-service tools.
  • Partner across HR COEs and business partners to ensure employee inquiries are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Employee Relations Coordination
  • Support employee relations activities including employee concerns, workplace issues, policy questions, and documentation review.
  • Conduct initial intake discussions and gather relevant information to support employee relations case management.
  • Assist with investigations by collecting documentation, coordinating interviews, and maintaining appropriate case records.
  • Escalate complex employee matters appropriately to management, HR Business Partners, or Legal teams.

HR Compliance & Documentation
  • Support compliance with company policies, employment practices, and applicable employment regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation meets established standards.
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance-related activities.
  • Support updates to HR policies, procedures, communications, and employee resources.

Digital HR & Continuous Improvement
  • Support adoption of HR technology, digital tools, and AI-enabled solutions that improve employee access to information and HR services.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify HR processes and improve efficiency.
  • Use HR systems and reporting tools to maintain accurate information and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Participate in HR projects focused on process improvement, automation, and operational excellence.

Employee Lifecycle Support
  • Support key employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, employment changes, leave administration, and offboarding.
  • Partner across HR functions to ensure consistent execution of HR processes.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of Human Resources experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Generalist, HR Specialist, HR Operations, or similar role.
  • Experience supporting employees and managers with HR policies, procedures, and employment-related questions.
  • Knowledge of fundamental HR practices, employee relations principles, and employment compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.

Preferred:
  • Experience supporting HR in a technology, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as SuccessFactors, or similar platform.
  • Experience supporting HR case management, employee relations, or compliance activities.
  • Interest or experience using AI, automation, analytics, or digital tools to improve HR processes.
  • Experience in creating employee resources, documentation, or knowledge management content.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent HR certification.

Location & Work Arrangement:
This position is based on site at our Santa Rosa, CA office where key partners and team members are based. While limited remote work flexibility may be available as business needs permit, this role is primarily intended to be an onsite position, with regular in-office collaboration strongly preferred.
