Job description

Ever since we started in 2007, Sunrun has been at the forefront of connecting people to the cleanest energy on Earth. It’s why we’ve become the #1 home solar and battery company in America. Today, we’re on a mission to change the way the world interacts with energy, and we’re building a company and brand that puts power at the center of life. And we’re doing it by designing a dynamic culture where employee development, well-being, and safety come first. We’re unlike any other solar company. Our vertically integrated model gives us total control over every part of the energy lifecycle – from sale through installation and beyond – so you can find endless opportunities for growth. Come join a career you can grow in and a culture you can run with.

At Sunrun, we believe the experience of our people is the engine of our success. We are looking for a highly organized, creative, and proactive Program Coordinator to support the Senior Director of Sales Experience. This role is central to building a world-class culture for our Sales organization by assisting in the design, planning, and execution of high-impact events and strategic internal communications.

The ideal candidate is a connector—someone who can juggle the logistical details of a national sales kickoff while maintaining the creative spark needed to draft a compelling announcement or newsletter. You will be the right hand to Sales Experience leadership, ensuring that every touchpoint with our reps—whether in-person or digital—feels intentional, professional, and uniquely Sunrun.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Communications

  • Content Distribution: Assist in the creation and distribution of sales-facing communications, including weekly videos, channel announcements, and internal intranet posts.

  • Graphic Design: Use visual language with Figma design platform to solve a specific problem or achieve a defined business objective, with a keen understanding of the "Who, What & Where" elements for the intended audience and purpose.

  • Asset Management: Maintain a library of Sales Experience assets (photos, videos, and presentation templates) to ensure the team has easy access to high-quality materials.

  • Engagement Tracking: Monitor open rates and engagement metrics for internal communications, providing basic reports to leadership on what content is resonating with the field.

Program Administration & Innovation

  • Project Tracking: Use project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, or Trello) to keep Sales Experience initiatives on schedule, ensuring no detail is missed.

  • Budget Tracking: Assist in managing the Sales Experience budget by processing invoices, tracking spend-to-date, and reconciling expenses.

  • AI-Assisted Workflow: Proactively utilize AI tools to assist in drafting initial communication copy, brainstorming event themes, and automating repetitive administrative tasks to maximize team efficiency.

Event Operations & Logistics

  • End-to-End Support: Assist in the planning and execution of Sales Experience events, ranging from intimate leadership off-sites to large-scale national sales incentives and recognition trips.

  • Vendor & Venue Coordination: Manage initial outreach to vendors, track contracts, and maintain a master calendar of deadlines for catering, AV, and décor.

  • On-Site Execution: Provide high-level boots on the ground support during events, managing registration, attendee needs, and troubleshooting real-time logistics to ensure a seamless experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: 2–4 years in Program Coordination, Event/Vendor Logistics, Marketing, or Sales Enablement.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; you must be able to write with a sales-first voice that is energetic and clear.

  • Organizational Mastery: A high degree of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple moving parts without dropping the ball.

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Design Tools (Figma, Adobe, etc.) and project management software.

  • The Triage Mindset: Ability to stay calm under pressure, especially during live events, and prioritize tasks based on their immediate impact on the Sales Experience.

  • AI Literacy: A curiosity for using AI to streamline administrative workflows and creative brainstorming.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS

  • Operational Tech Proficiency: Ability to perform standard office duties, including prolonged periods of working on a computer.

  • Event Mobility: Ability to lead on-site event execution, which includes standing and walking for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (event materials/signage).

  • Communication: Comfort interacting with all levels of the organization, from frontline reps to executive leadership.

  • Travel: Ability to support regional events and national sales initiatives.
