Job description

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Digital and Analytics Department of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Mastery of the principles of the technical and business systems and the associated processes and practices used to manage weapons systems acquisition in the Navy. This includes knowledge of the principles governing life cycle acquisition management within DoD, the DoD Planning, Programming and Budgeting System, and the Navy acquisition management process. 2) Ability to apply managerial, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills to develop an effective acquisition management team. 3) Ability to plan for and synthesize requirements of functional areas, including engineering, logistics, budget, configuration management and other functional specialties into integrated strategies and processes to support the acquisition program.
