Overview

The Associate Director, Talent will be responsible for leading internal communications and employee engagement strategies that enhance the employee experience and strengthen the agency's internal brand and culture. This role will leverage engagement data and insights to design and implement impactful programs, initiatives, and events that align with agency priorities. With a focus on keeping employees informed, connected, and inspired, the successful candidate will play a critical part in fostering a thriving and inclusive workplace. This position reports to the VP, Talent.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute internal communication strategies that align with agency priorities, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and reflective of the agency's values and culture.
  • Manage and continuously optimize internal communication channels, tailoring content and delivery to maximize employee reach, understanding, and engagement.
  • Partner with the talent team and agency leaders to translate key initiatives into actionable plans, driving alignment and accountability through timely updates and progress reporting.
  • Design and implement data-informed engagement strategies, leveraging KPIs and employee feedback to measure effectiveness and recommend enhancements that strengthen the employee experience.
  • Analyze Moments that Matter employee survey data to develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations, ensuring the execution of improvement plans that amplify engagement levels.
  • Champion a culture of openness and inclusivity, reinforcing core agency values across communications and initiatives, and fostering connection between leadership and employees.
  • Drive the creation and maintenance of employee-facing collateral such as agency guides, digital content, and materials, ensuring clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
  • Partner with relevant teams to apply an employee experience lens to key programs and events, including Town Halls, Culture Committee initiatives, and other efforts that promote connection, celebration, and culture-building.
  • Ensure published communications reflect an employee-first perspective, aligning messaging with the needs and expectations of both prospective and current employees, including on social media and the agency's website.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role; media agency experience is a plus.
  • You must be proactive and a self-starter; with the ability to work both independently and take the lead, while also being a team player.
  • Ability to manage up and work with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the drive to understand and align to agency goals and priorities.
  • Organized and meticulous about meeting deadlines with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to think on your feet, work in an agile manner, and adapt to evolving needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in developing senior level presentations and POVs, and presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Engaging and positive, with a desire to build strong, credible relationships across the organization.
  • Ability to analyze and translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Digitally savvy and passionate about internal engagement and communications.
  • Must have a drive for excellence and efficiency.
