HSS is currently seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to support our national team in the Dallas, TX region.


The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the company's growth through the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansion. This role involves market research, lead generation, relationship management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue and business development targets.


Duties and Responsibilities

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
  • Analyze market data to develop informed strategies.

Lead Generation:

  • Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and online research.
  • Qualify leads to ensure they align with the company's target market and strategic objectives.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan aligned with the company's growth goals.
  • Set clear objectives, KPIs, and strategies for achieving revenue targets.

Client and Partner Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, customers, and partners.
  • Understand client needs and pain points, and tailor solutions to meet them.

Sales and Negotiation:

  • Lead sales efforts, including proposal preparation, presentations, and contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate with the field teams to ensure a seamless transition from lead to customer.

Partnerships and Alliances:

  • Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations that enhance the company's offerings and market reach.

New Business Opportunities:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, which may include market expansion, new product launches, or mergers and acquisitions.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Provide regular reports to senior management on the progress of business development initiatives.
  • Analyze and report on sales and revenue performance against targets.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of outside sales focused business development activities
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong knowledge of market research and analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%


Compensation

The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. This range represents the minimum and maximum pay that Hospitality Staffing Solutions reasonably and in good faith believes it will pay for this role at the time of posting.

Additional Compensation

This position may also be eligible for:

- Commissions / Bonus eligible

- Expenses covered for Work Related Travel
