Position Summary
The Advisor Relations & Development Specialist is the primary connection between Andavo's supplier partners and the independent advisors within our luxury host agency. This person builds and maintains trusted relationships across both groups, coordinates the year-round communication of supplier programs to our advisor community, vets prospective advisor leads for fit with our business model, and helps newly affiliated advisors establish the business and planning foundations for their independent practices. Success in this role requires strong relationship management, sound business judgment, and the ability to translate partner programs into practical action for small, independent businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier & Advisor Relationship Management
  • Serve as the trusted, year-round point of contact for supplier partners and independent advisors, building strong relationships and advocating for both.
  • Cultivate partnerships that strengthen advisor access to preferred suppliers, promotions, and value-added amenities.
Program Coordination & Communication
  • Coordinate and communicate supplier programs, promotions, and campaign calendars to the advisor network clearly and on schedule.
  • Organize the annual flow of partner communications so advisors receive timely, relevant, and well-packaged information.
  • Track advisor engagement with partner programs and share insights with leadership and suppliers to strengthen future planning.
Advisor Vetting & Onboarding
  • Review and vet incoming advisor leads, assessing experience, professionalism, and alignment with our host agency's structure, standards, and target market.
  • Guide newly affiliated advisors through onboarding, including general business setup appropriate to running an independent practice.
Advisor Development & Training
  • Provide training and resources that help advisors make the most of supplier programs and grow their books of business.
  • Support advisors in developing business and planning fundamentals for their independent small businesses, including social media and other marketing plans, offered as guidance and optional resources.

Qualifications
Required
  • Proven relationship management experience, ideally with external partners, vendors, or a distributed network of professionals.
  • Strong business acumen and comfort advising small-business owners on growth and planning fundamentals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to make complex programs simple and actionable.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage many relationships and timelines concurrently in a remote setting.
Preferred
  • Travel industry, host agency, or luxury/leisure travel experience.
  • Experience coordinating supplier, vendor, or partner marketing programs.
  • Familiarity with the independent contractor / host agency business model.
