Job description

As a Teller at Astera Credit Union, you will spend your day delivering high quality service to our members. You will become an expert in your knowledge of our products and services, and will be trained on how to educate our members to improve their financial well-being. A typical day as a teller includes accurately performing deposits, withdrawals, payments and more for our members. You will be responsible for verifying cash and balancing out each day's transactions. This position requires you to work 40 hours per week and the hours and days range from 8:30am-6:30pm Monday-Friday and 8:30am-2pm on Saturdays. If you enjoy getting to know people and are an effective and empathetic listener, this is the job for you.
To be successful in this position, you will need a high school diploma or GED and a college degree or at least six months of similar or related experience.
This is a full-time, hourly, union position. The pay for this position is $14.14 per hour in addition to incentive and performance-based pay and annual increases.
