Job description

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Garden City, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Monitor and report changes in clientsโ€™ health and well-being to healthcare professionals and family members.
  • Help clients with mobility and exercising.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role is a plus.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety standards.
  • Ability to pass background checks.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
