We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Down South Counseling Center. As an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in supporting students’ mental health and well-being in a remote, school-based setting. You will engage with students to address their emotional and social challenges while implementing evidence-based therapeutic practices. This full-time role offers an annual salary range of $60,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

This position will offer the flexibility of remote work, allowing for seamless communication and therapeutic support for students from the comfort of your home. You will collaborate closely with educators and school administrators to ensure a holistic approach to student mental health. Our remote setup is designed to foster a culture of teamwork, utilizing various digital platforms for documentation and communication.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for students to identify their emotional and psychological needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate each student’s unique circumstances and challenges.
• Provide solution-focused therapy sessions utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all clinical interactions and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, school psychologists, and other social workers, to optimize student care.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay informed about best practices and emerging research in the field of social work.

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children who experience a variety of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and depression. Many of these students may come from diverse backgrounds, necessitating a culturally sensitive approach to therapy.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• An active LCSW license in the state of Georgia.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a keen ability to build rapport with students and their families.
• Experience in working within a team-oriented environment, capable of fostering collaborative relationships.

Although not mandatory, experience working within school settings or with youth populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with trauma-informed practices and solution-focused therapy will enhance your ability to support our students effectively.
