Job description

Hospice Aide

The Hospice Aide delivers personal care and emotional support services to hospice patients in alignment with the hospice philosophy of comfort, dignity, and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Record and report vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient status.
  • Offer companionship, listening ear, and emotional reassurance.
  • Follow the care plan under supervision of RN Case Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a state-approved nurse aide or hospice aide training program.
  • Current certification in good standing with the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry.
  • Prior hospice or home care experience preferred.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor.
