Compunnel Healthcare is seeking a travel EMG Technologist for a travel job in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The Electromyography Technologist, under the Director of Neurodiagnostic services, performs nerve conduction studies and assists physicians with needle examination in the laboratory and at the patient's bedside.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to young adult, adult and geriatric age patients
Proven ability to work with physicians, administrators and staff
Demonstrates the ability to problem solve
Demonstrates the ability to resolve technical issues within their field
Possesses excellent communication skills
Possesses strong computer skills (MS office-Excel, Word)
Demonstrates knowledge of patient history, anatomy and technical skill pertinent to EMG technicians
Ability to assemble, disassemble EMG equipment for redressing per each patient case
Displays knowledge of proper function of equipment
Displays technical skill of electrode placement and proficiency with components of machine
Displays knowledge of cleaning procedures for equipment
Possesses ability to record responses with testing and can differentiate between normal and abnormal responses
Displays knowledge of data entry to electronic health record and hospital billing
Possesses ability to assemble monthly statistics
Displays ability to teach co-workers and precept students in field
