Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition - Emerging Talent
The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition - Emerging Talent is responsible for developing and executing TriNet's early career talent strategy. This role leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of internship, university recruiting, rotational, and entry-level hiring programs that build sustainable talent pipelines aligned to organizational priorities. The Senior Manager partners closely with business leaders, HR, DEI, Marketing, and Talent Acquisition teams to attract, engage, and develop emerging talent while delivering a best-in-class candidate and intern experience. This leader will serve as a strategic advisor on workforce planning, talent pipeline development, employer branding, and future talent needs.
What You Will Do
  • Develop and execute a multi-year emerging talent strategy aligned with business workforce planning and succession needs.

  • Lead all university recruiting, internship, co-op, rotational, and early career hiring programs across the organization.

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with universities, colleges, professional associations, workforce development organizations, and community partners to strengthen talent pipelines.

  • Partner with business leaders and HR to identify future talent needs and create scalable programs that address critical talent gaps.

  • Design and oversee internship and early career experiences that foster engagement, skill development, mentorship, and conversion to full-time employment.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program effectiveness, candidate experience, intern conversion rates, diversity outcomes, and return on investment.

  • Collaborate with Employer Brand, Marketing, and Communications teams to enhance TriNet's visibility and reputation as an employer of choice for students and early career professionals.

  • Lead campus recruiting events, career fairs, networking initiatives, and virtual engagement programs to build awareness and attract top talent.

  • Create and implement innovative sourcing strategies that expand access to diverse emerging talent populations and strengthen workforce diversity.

  • Manage external partnerships and vendors supporting university recruiting, assessment solutions, campus engagement, and talent development initiatives.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition leaders to ensure seamless integration of emerging talent programs across recruiting processes and hiring teams.

  • Provide coaching, leadership, and development for a team responsible for executing emerging talent programs and recruiting activities.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement by leveraging market intelligence, talent trends, and competitive benchmarking.

  • Foster a learning culture focused on innovation, accountability, collaboration, coaching, and professional growth.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Comply with all policies and standards.

Education Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

Experience Qualifications
  • Typically 8+ years of talent acquisition, university recruiting, emerging talent, workforce planning, or related HR experience preferred.

  • Typically 3+ years leading recruiting, university relations, campus recruiting, internship, or talent development teams preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling internship, graduate, rotational, or early career hiring programs.

Skills and Abilities
  • Proven success developing and executing enterprise-wide emerging talent and university recruiting strategies.

  • Strong understanding of campus recruiting, internship program management, employer branding, and workforce pipeline development.

  • Experience building partnerships with universities, workforce development organizations, and industry associations.

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage talent market insights and workforce data to influence talent strategy and business decisions.

  • Experience designing programs that improve candidate engagement, intern experience, and conversion outcomes.

  • Ability to influence senior leaders and build alignment across a complex, matrixed organization.

  • Strong project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Passion for developing future talent and creating inclusive pathways to career opportunities.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 and talent acquisition technologies.

The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $108,700.00 to $217,375.00. All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta. All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the company's discretion. The candidate's final salary offer will be based on the candidate's skills, education, work location and experience.
A candidate's compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet's corporate bonus plan.
