Job Description

As a Security Operation Center Operator in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and help direct response to security-related needs. Your visible presence, clear communication, and customer-focused service will help support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
  • Monitor communication systems, alarms, and incoming calls; dispatch appropriate personnel and resources in accordance with established protocols.
  • Receive, document, prioritize, and relay information regarding incidents, alarms, access concerns, and emergency situations.
  • Respond to critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and coordinate communications with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and other required records while supporting security-related operations across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
