Full-Time | Supporting Multiple Campuses
Rosedale Green and Emerald Trace are seeking a compassionate, organized, and team-oriented Nurse Educator to support staff development and clinical education across both campuses.
This position plays an important role in ensuring our nursing teams are properly trained, supported, and equipped to provide exceptional resident care. The ideal candidate is an experienced RN or LPN with long-term care experience who enjoys teaching, mentoring, coaching, and building strong clinical teams.
Position Summary
The Nurse Educator will assist with the coordination and delivery of:
  • New hire General Orientation
  • Clinical onboarding and department orientation
  • Annual education and mandatory in-services
  • Skills competency reviews and check-offs
  • Regulatory and compliance education
  • Ongoing staff development and coaching
  • Clinical documentation education
  • Infection prevention and safety-related education initiatives
  • Employee health support activities, including assistance with processes such as TB testing and compliance tracking
  • Survey readiness and quality improvement support

This role will work collaboratively with nursing leadership and frontline staff at both campuses to help maintain high clinical standards and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate orientation and educational sessions for new employees
  • Conduct nursing skills validations and competency check-offs
  • Assist with tracking education completion and compliance requirements
  • Provide coaching and educational support to staff members
  • Help maintain education records and documentation
  • Support implementation of policies, procedures, and clinical best practices
  • Assist leadership with ongoing staff development initiatives
  • Support certain employee health-related processes and compliance activities
  • Participate in QAPI and regulatory readiness efforts
  • Travel between both campuses as needed
Qualifications
  • Active Kentucky RN or LPN license required
  • Long-term care/skilled nursing experience required
  • Previous education, preceptor, charge nurse, or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Comfortable teaching both individuals and groups
  • Basic computer proficiency required
  • CPR Instructor certification is a plus
  • Ability and willingness to commute between both campuses
  • Schedule flexibility based on educational priorities and operational needs
