BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – PROVIDER RELATIONS


Position Details

Job Type: Full-Time
Territory: Broward & Miami-Dade Counties, Florida
Work Environment: Field-based with virtual and in-person provider meetings
Travel: Regular local travel throughout the assigned South Florida territory

About the Opportunity

Seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Business Development Manager – Provider Relations to develop, manage, and expand relationships with healthcare providers throughout Broward and Miami-Dade counties.

This is more than a traditional sales role. The Business Development Manager will serve as a trusted business partner to healthcare providers, taking the time to understand their practices, operational challenges, and growth goals while connecting them with our resources and business solutions.

The ideal candidate is comfortable building relationships in the field, identifying opportunities, developing new accounts, and growing revenue across an existing portfolio.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with healthcare providers throughout Broward and Miami-Dade counties.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned provider accounts.
  • Conduct regular in-person and virtual provider meetings, business reviews, and follow-up conversations.
  • Develop a strong understanding of each provider’s practice, operational needs, challenges, and growth objectives.
  • Coordinate with our internal teams to address provider needs, facilitate solutions, and resolve concerns.
  • Strengthen provider satisfaction, engagement, and long-term retention.
  • Introduce providers to relevant services, programs, and revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand our products and services within existing provider relationships.
  • Enroll qualified providers in our medical billing platform and support continued account growth.
  • Recruit new healthcare providers and organizations into our network.
  • Develop referral relationships and strategic partnerships throughout South Florida.
  • Create account-specific growth strategies designed to increase provider participation and revenue.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, opportunities, account activity, and follow-up.
  • Consistently work toward established provider growth, revenue, and performance goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare business development, provider relations, medical sales, account management, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with the South Florida healthcare market strongly preferred.
  • Existing healthcare provider relationships in Broward and/or Miami-Dade County are a plus.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Professional, consultative approach to business development and provider engagement.
  • Ability to identify provider needs and connect them with appropriate business solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and personal accountability.
  • Ability to manage multiple provider relationships, prospects, and revenue opportunities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable conducting both virtual and in-person meetings.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while achieving measurable performance goals.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
