Embryologists are in demand due to the growing field of reproductive medicine and fertility treatments. The profession requires specialized training and certification, and job opportunities are available in clinics, hospitals, and research institutions worldwide.

AI technology can assist embryologists by analyzing data and images more quickly and accurately, but it is unlikely to fully replace the role. The highest salaries for full-time embryologists can reach around $100,000 or more annually, especially for those with extensive experience, advanced certifications, or working in high-cost-of-living areas. Salaries vary based on location, employer, and level of expertise, with senior embryologists and those in managerial roles earning at the top end of the scale.

Our team is united by a shared commitment to helping patients achieve their family-building goals through advanced technology, evidence-based medicine, and a warm, supportive environment. We take great pride in our collaborative culture, our outcomes, and the trust our patients place in us every day.

About This Opportunity

We are seeking a full time, experienced, and highly skilled Senior Embryologist to join our laboratory team. In this role, you will perform and oversee advanced assisted reproductive technology procedures while working closely with physicians, nurses, and laboratory leadership to optimize outcomes and uphold the highest standards of quality and patient safety. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients while contributing to a team that values precision, professionalism, and continuous growth.

What You Will Do

  • Monitor fertilization and embryo development, evaluate embryo quality, and support selection decisions in collaboration with physicians and laboratory leadership
  • Perform and oversee cryopreservation and thawing of oocytes, sperm, embryos, and reproductive tissue, maintaining accurate labeling, traceability, inventory control, and cryostorage records
  • Conduct daily quality control activities, verify equipment performance, monitor environmental conditions, and support corrective and preventive actions
  • Help coordinate daily laboratory workflow, prioritize cases, maintain supply readiness, and support scheduling and operational coverage including weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely records for all laboratory activities, patient specimens, outcomes, quality checks, and equipment logs
  • Train, mentor, and support junior embryologists and laboratory staff on techniques, quality standards, workflows, and competency expectations
  • Follow applicable regulatory, accreditation, safety, and ethical standards and support audits, inspections, and SOP updates
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff regarding laboratory findings, cycle progress, and case needs
  • Contribute to process improvement, validation activities, and implementation of new technologies and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Embryology, Reproductive Biology, Medical Technology, or a related life science field
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a clinical embryology or IVF laboratory
  • Substantial hands-on experience with advanced ART procedures and cryopreservation
  • Demonstrated expertise in IVF, ICSI, embryo culture, embryo grading, specimen traceability, laboratory documentation, and quality systems
  • Proven ability to mentor staff, support training and competency development, and promote a collaborative and accountable laboratory environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively under time-sensitive conditions

Preferred:

  • Experience with embryo biopsy and PGT coordination
  • Quality improvement, accreditation, or inspection readiness experience
  • Laboratory validation activities

Schedule and Work Environment
