About the Role

We are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician in Madison, WI to fill a vacancy and join our Team. Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, plays a key role in supporting Boviteq USA’s advanced reproductive technologies, including IVF, embryo production, and related laboratory processes. This position is responsible for performing routine and specialized laboratory procedures with a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail. The technician ensures all work is completed in alignment with established protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do:
  • Participate in the Embryo Production process
  • Maturation, fertilization, and culture of bovine oocytes
  • Freezing, grading, and packaging of embryos for shipment
  • Comply with production SOPs, schedules and USDA export regulations
  • Maintain and monitor materials, equipment and data entry
  • Record keeping and care maintenance of equipment
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Knowledge of microscopes, pipetting and aseptic techniques is an advantage
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skills
  • Previous agriculture experience is a plus
