Job description

Greater Pittsburgh Specialty Advertising (GPSA) is a family-owned apparel decorator and team outfitter with embroidery and screen-printing operations located in Millvale.  For 30 years, we've been delivering high-quality products with outstanding customer service to successful school, companies and organizations across Western Pennsylvania.
We're looking for self-motivated, quality-conscious Embroidery Machine Operator with Embroidery and/or commercial sewing experience for this full-time, weekday, daylight (8:30-5:00) position.
We anticipate offering a starting wage of $16 to $19 per hour, very flexible based on experience.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Efficiently operating Tajima 8 head embroidery machinery on a daily basis.
  • Embroidering apparel and miscellaneous other items to fulfill customer orders.
  • Operating sewing machines to apply patches and other decorations to apparel as needed.
  • Ensuring items are embroidered with correct logos and colors as noted on work orders.
  • Trimming, folding, bagging and boxing embroidered apparel as needed.
  • Performing quality control on the apparel; organizing, packing and preparing boxes for shipment.
  • Maintaining a neat, orderly and safe work area.
Qualifications:
  • Basic reading and math skills.
  • Good verbal, written and team communication skills.
  • Embroidery and/or sewing experience.
