Job description

Embroidery Machine Operator
We are seeking a talented embroidery machine operator to join our team.

Position Summary
The embroidery machine operator is an intricate part of our business since we take pride in exceeding our customers' expectations. You will ensure we are meeting the specifications of the customer, accuracy of the order, and the safe operation and maintenance of the machinery.

What you will do in this role

  • Embroiders orders per instructions.
  • Verification of orders.
  • Loading the digitized design into the embroidery machine and programing the proper color steps.
  • Checking proposed design against paperwork to confirm that it matches the required color, size and placement.
  • Hooping the garment securely to allow for proper sewing.
  • Checking completed goods against paperwork and sign off.
  • Observes sewing operation to detect defects in stitching that indicate machine malfunction and notifies supervisor of malfunction.
  • Consistent premium quality of work with a keen eye to detail and on time delivery are top priority.
  • Follows all safety guidelines while operating the machinery.
  • Implement the daily and weekly maintenance and cleaning schedule for the embroidery machine to keep it in top working order.
  • Maintain a clean workspace.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What you will need to succeed

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 or more years’ experience as an embroidery operator.
  • Fulfillment experience a plus.
  • Well-organized.
  • Able to communicate with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Self-motivated and willingness to help others.
  • Must be a team player and have a positive “Can do” attitude.
