We specialize in vegetation management for Investor-Owned Utilities (IOUs) like Entergy and OG&E, Cooperatives, Municipalities, and gas pipeline companies. Our services include tree trimming and removal, herbicide application, and mowing, ensuring a clear and manageable ROW for reliable utility services. Most of our management team and supervisors are certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), promoting professional arboriculture practices.

Bucket Operator Summary
The Bucket Operator is responsible for safely operating a bucket truck to perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal services for residential and commercial clients. The role involves working at heights, ensuring the safety of the work site, and collaborating with tree service crews to complete various tree care tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and maintain the bucket truck and related equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  • Safely trim or remove tree limbs and branches with minimal impact to surrounding property and vegetation.
  • Operate from an aerial lift to perform tree trimming, following all safety policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of roping and rigging techniques for limb removal.
  • Perform physically demanding work in an outdoor environment, in varying weather conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure safe execution of tasks.
  • Assist in the cleanup of the worksite, ensuring all debris is properly disposed of or recycled.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or other issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Conduct thorough job site analyses to assess risks, determine necessary equipment, and plan safe and efficient operations.
  • Communicate effectively with the supervisor to ensure job objectives are understood and executed properly.
  • Drive to various work locations and complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely based on the specific needs of each site.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Bucket Operator with a valid DOT Medical Card.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required; CDL preferred.
  • Prior experience operating a bucket truck or similar equipment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of tree care practices, including pruning, trimming, and safe removal techniques.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Committed to following all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Must be able to pass a background check successfully.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds to shoulder height
  • Flexibility, including the ability to squat and bend
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to pull body weight up 20 feet and climb a tree
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and withstand extreme temperatures
  • Must not exceed weight limitations for hydraulic buckets
