GENERAL FUNCTION
The Materials Handler II (Embroidery) is responsible for leading a team of warehouse / production employees while ensuring high levels of customer service. The Materials Handler II (Embroidery) works closely with the management team to hold group of embroidery associates accountable for productivity, accuracy, and process. The Materials Handler II (Embroidery) also trains new associates and follows-up on their understanding and productivity.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Utilize industrial embroidery machines to customize orders
  • Processes merchandise/product per the established procedures.
  • Receives merchandise per the established procedures and prioritize schedule.
  • Prepares merchandise/product per request stores/orders.
  • Prepares merchandise/product for shipment.
  • Helps coach and train new associates.
  • Works closely with the leadership team to expedite high priority orders and ensure order accuracy.
  • Helps reinforce with the machine operators process and gives real time coaching to peers.
  • Creates sense of urgency among team and pushes productivity among group of embroidery associates.
  • Completes projects as assigned by DC Supervisor and/or Manager.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 + year(s) of embroidery experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisors/Manager
  • Ability to communicate/cooperate with DC associates
  • Ability to interact professionally with both corporate and non-corporate personnel
  • Ability to use material handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.)
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work in a stand/walk position for up to 10 hours
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior experience in distribution center/warehouse
  • Embroidery experience preferred
