Job description

Location: This role requires that you reside within the Atlanta Metro area. This is a hybrid role, and the schedule is a mix of work-from-office/work-from-home.
Job Summary
The Senior Email Marketing Specialist serves as a key contributor within the Marketing organization, responsible for the hands-on execution of complex, multi-touch email campaigns. This role ensures campaigns are built, deployed, and optimized according to strategy for both prospective and current customers.
This individual plays a critical role in customizing and validating campaign content, ensuring accuracy, and driving performance improvements through data-driven recommendations. The Senior Email Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Senior Email Marketing Manager.
Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions
  • Execute email campaigns and communications within established timelines, including national and local acquisition campaigns, product notifications, customer communications, and special projects
  • Customize, tailor, and edit email creative, ensuring content accuracy and alignment with campaign strategy
  • Provide hands-on HTML support to build, edit, and troubleshoot email templates and HTML/CSS code
  • Leverage dynamic content capabilities within email programs to create personalized, targeted messaging that improves engagement and overall campaign performance
  • Influence and contribute to the direction of the email marketing program, including template design, personalization strategies, content development, and mobile optimization
  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of email campaigns with strong project management discipline, ensuring deadlines are consistently met
  • Execute multi-channel campaigns within marketing platforms, including email, direct mail, SMS, and digital channels
  • Provide input on process improvements, campaign strategies, promotions, and A/B testing opportunities
  • Monitor email performance and channel KPIs, identifying trends and making recommendations to optimize campaign effectiveness
  • Serve as a liaison with external vendors and internal cross-functional partners to ensure seamless execution
  • Review campaign counts, targeting, and performance metrics to validate accuracy and proactively identify issues
  • Proofread all messaging and manage templates, graphics, and seed lists to ensure quality and consistency
  • Perform final quality assurance checks on creative, targeting, and list selection to ensure campaigns meet approved guidelines and are delivered on time

Job Qualifications - Experience/Education/Training:
Minimum
  • Bachelor's degree in in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or in lieu of a degree, eight years of experience in a related field will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML coding and experience deploying email campaigns within a multi-channel marketing platform (e.g., Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Expertise in an email automation platform (e.g., Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua)
  • Experience leveraging dynamic content and building emails using HTML/CSS without reliance on WYSIWYG editors
  • Proven email campaign execution experience with the ability to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leveraging dynamic content within email marketing programs
  • Knowledge of Salesforce marketing applications, including Marketing Cloud
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM platforms
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple campaigns, competing priorities, and deadlines
  • Experience within the telecommunications industry

USD 74,000.00 - 111,000.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $74,000.00 - $111,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
