Position Overview

Laurel School is seeking an Enrollment Operations Manager to lead administrative workflows, database management, and guest hospitality within the Enrollment Office. This role keeps Laurel's enrollment data accurate and systems running smoothly, while ensuring that prospective families, visitors, and callers receive a warm, organized introduction to Laurel. From managing applicant files and communications to greeting tour families and streamlining office logistics, this position directly connects our back-end operations with exceptional family experiences from initial inquiry through enrollment. 


Key Responsibilities
  • Serves as the welcoming face and voice of the Enrollment Office, greeting prospective families, visiting students, and guests with warmth, professionalism, and Laurel hospitality.
  • Answers, screens, and directs incoming calls from the main admissions line; responds promptly to general inquiry emails and routes specialized questions to the appropriate team members.
  • Coordinates arrival logistics for campus tours, student shadow visits, and family interviews, ensuring registration areas and reception spaces are tidy, inviting, and fully prepared.
  • Maintains office supply inventory, manages incoming/outgoing mail, and oversees general office organization to ensure a smooth daily workflow.
  • Coordinates with vendors for admissions materials, signage and printing.
  • Manages event registration lists, prepares check-in materials and name tags, and assists with on-site setup and hospitality for open houses, shadow days and yield events (including occasional evening and weekend commitments).
  • Manages the primary Admissions CRM and secondary platforms, ensuring data synergy across school-wide offices (Development, Registrar, Business Office, and Divisions).
  • Conducts regular audits, data deduplication, and data hygiene processes to maintain accurate reporting across all stages of the admissions funnel.
  • Designs and executes queries to provide leadership with actionable data regarding funnel health, yield, attrition, and financial assistance distribution.
  • Serves as lead administrator for enrollment-related data platforms ensuring seamless integration between financial aid data and applicant files.
  • Oversees the digital production and physical mailing of admissions packets and official decision letters.
  • Manages the digital and physical lifecycle of applicant files from initial inquiry through enrollment and final transition to the Registrar.
  • Assists with collecting Variable Tuition documentation for committee review, draft financial correspondence, and orchestrate the technical setup for student contracts.
  • Supports the admission team on execution of email and event marketing/communication. 
  • Assists with and attends events which may require evening and weekend commitments.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

 Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.  
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience or experience working with data. Experience in Higher Education and/or Admission office operations and/or CRM environments preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and the ability to multitask in a bustling office environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with families, students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong technical skills with hands-on experience with admissions CRMs (e.g., Blackbaud, Veracross) and financial aid platforms (e.g., Clarity). Strong Excel/data query skills.
  • High aptitude for learning new systems and managing digital records with precision.
  • Highly organized and resourceful, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently and effectively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated record of maintaining confidentiality, discretion, and sound professional judgment.
  • Ability to articulate and embody Laurel's mission, vision, and values, with a proactive commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
  • Willingness to support school-wide initiatives and attend community events as needed, including occasional evening or weekend requirements.
