About the Role
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns and programs across digital, email, partner, and promotional channels. This role works closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to translate strategy into execution while exercising independent judgment in campaign configuration, performance evaluation, and optimization decisions.
The role contributes directly to marketing performance by analyzing campaign data, identifying trends, and recommending improvements that impact engagement, conversion, and revenue outcomes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytically driven, and capable of managing multiple initiatives while contributing to both execution and continuous improvement of marketing strategy.
You'll be a key operational partner, helping bring campaigns to life from strategy through execution. This is a great fit for someone who is organized, analytically minded, collaborative, and excited to learn the full spectrum of digital marketing.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Campaign Execution & Optimization
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including email, promotional, digital, and web initiatives.
  • Help build out the monthly promotional calendar, including scheduling, copy coordination, and ensuring campaigns launch on time and on brief.
  • Draft campaign briefs, creative requests, copy inputs (headlines, subject lines, CTAs), and messaging frameworks for review and approval.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure campaigns are executed accurately and on schedule.

Marketing Program Support
  • Own the execution and ongoing performance of recurring and always-on marketing programs, including customer lifecycle and promotional initiatives.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and determine corrective actions or adjustments to improve performance outcomes.
  • Coordinate assets and campaign elements across channels, ensuring consistency and quality.

Performance Tracking & Insights
  • Analyze campaign performance data, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion metrics, and revenue impact.
  • Track initiative performance against revenue, conversion, engagement, and growth objectives and surface recommendations.
  • Identify trends in the data and surface insights that inform future strategy.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to monitor industry trends, benchmark performance, and identify opportunities to differentiate our marketing approach.

Ideation & Strategy
  • Contribute to campaign and program strategy through data-driven insights and innovative ideas.
  • Stay current on marketing trends, tools, and best practices to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide input on campaign direction and priorities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and other internal teams to support campaign execution and alignment.
  • Maintain clear communication across stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Support budget tracking and coordination in collaboration with Marketing and Sales leadership.

Day-to-Day Marketing Operations
  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager with administrative and operational tasks including project tracking, asset management, and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain organized records of campaign calendars, assets, and performance documentation.
  • Help manage and update the marketing project management tool to keep campaigns on track.

Other Duties
Additional responsibilities may include trade show and event support, webinar program coordination, partner and ABM campaign assistance, post-event reporting, and other projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, campaign coordination, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in execution.
  • Exposure to the email marketing platform Klaviyo is a strong plus.
  • Analytical mindset - comfortable pulling reports, reading dashboards, and summarizing findings clearly.
  • Strong written communication skills for campaign copy, briefs, and internal documentation.
  • Curious, proactive, and motivated to understand the "why" behind marketing decisions.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities
  • Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, accelerate content creation, support research, and enhance marketing execution
  • Ability to evaluate, refine, and apply AI-generated outputs while maintaining quality and brand standards
  • Familiarity with project management tools (ClickUP, Monday.com) is a plus.
  • Experience in e-commerce or online education marketing is a bonus.
