Job description

Email Marketing Strategist

Ryze Agency | Fort Lauderdale, FL | Full-Time

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Retirement, and more

Ryze Agency is the fastest-growing interactive marketing agency in Florida, with a sister company Jekyll & Hyde in Detroit. We manage a growing portfolio of health, wellness, and consumer brands, and we have built AI-powered systems most agencies are still reading about. We are not cutting back, we are leaning in and hiring the best of the best. If you have intellectual curiosity, a strong IQ, and an independent drive to own your outcomes, you would be lucky to work here.

We do not do things because that is how it has always been done. We do what works and we do it better, faster, smarter.

We're Not Hiring an Email Marketer.

We're hiring a performance-obsessed strategist who knows how to move the needle.

Ryze is a creative performance agency built for the AI age. We're looking for an Email Marketing Strategist who understands how consumers think, how e-commerce works, and how to drive results, not just clicks. If you love great copy, data-backed decisions, and tools that make you smarter, this role is for you.

This isn't a role for order-takers. It's for marketers who think critically, test relentlessly, and create campaigns that convert.

What You'll Be Owning (Not Just Managing):

• Full lifecycle email campaigns - strategy, copy, segmentation, automation, analysis

• All things Klaviyo: flows, campaigns, A/B tests, list management, SMS, and integrations

• Customer journey mapping across lead gen, conversion, and retention

• Performance optimization through testing, personalization, and data-driven insights

• Campaign planning that syncs with paid, organic, and product calendars

• Reporting and analysis that guides decisions, not just tracks performance

• AI-enhanced workflows that improve speed and output (ChatGPT, Notion AI, etc.)

• Ongoing growth initiatives: upsells, cross-sells, cart recovery, winbacks, and more

Who Thrives Here:

You do not just write emails, you build systems that move people. You understand how psychology drives clicks, how flows drive revenue, and how data drives improvement. You bring intellectual curiosity and a hunger for learning to everything you touch. You have a bias toward action and you take full ownership of your results.

You'll Need:

• Hands-on experience with Klaviyo in a fast-paced environment

• Strong portfolio of email flows, campaigns, and tests you have built or optimized

• Confidence building from scratch and improving what already exists

• Experience with e-commerce, lead generation, and customer retention strategies

• Ability to write high-performing copy, subject lines, and CTAs

• Familiarity with AI tools to support creative or analytical work

• Strong understanding of email KPIs, UTM tagging, and Google Analytics

• Excellent organizational and communication skills -- you will be working across teams

Bonus Points:

• Experience with SMS marketing, pop-ups, and customer segmentation tools

• Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and deliverability best practices

• Design eye or Photoshop/Figma skills for light creative work

• Familiarity with Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar e-comm platforms

• Previous agency experience or comfort juggling multiple brands

Success Looks Like:

• Email and SMS flows that convert consistently

• Clear growth in open rates, CTR, and revenue per recipient

• Smart tests and real learnings guiding creative and segmentation

• No missed sends. No sloppy errors. Clean execution, every time

• Clients and teammates trusting you to lead, not follow

Career Trajectory:

You will have the chance to grow into a Lifecycle Marketing Lead, Retention Strategist, or Channel Director. Ryze is growing fast and we promote from within. If you are ready to take ownership and scale your skills, this is the place.

Want to Own the Inbox?

If you are ready to build smarter, test bolder, and turn emails into real growth, apply now. We are not just sending campaigns. We are building a machine.
