As a Senior Design Advisor at our NYC Flagship, you will be responsible for building and cultivating relationships within the residential and trade community along with delivering an exceptional in-store experience, serving as a trusted guide for clients as they explore our luxury assortment. From initial consultations to post-sale follow-up, you’ll play a vital role in achieving Flagship performance targets, deepening client relationships, and bringing Maiden Home’s vision to life.

This role is located at our New York City Flagship, located in the Meatpacking District. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed significant individual sales targets while contributing to overall showroom goals
  • Identify, plan, and execute activations and events that will drive incremental revenue and build brand awareness
  • Manage the full client lifecycle, from first touch through purchase and post-sale follow-up
  • Identify, prospect, and develop relationships with residential and trade clients
  • Deliver elevated, tailored experiences to walk-in and appointment-based clients
  • Serve as product and brand expert, guiding clients towards solutions that align with their aesthetic, functional, timeline, and budget needs 
  • Stay fluent in product knowledge, customization options, and care recommendations
  • Work closely with Client Services and Operations teams to ensure smooth order processing and a seamless client experience.
  • Maintain showroom standards and proactively contribute to a clean, inspiring environment
  • Adapt in real time to a fast-paced, client-first retail environment

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in luxury furnishings, interior design, or similar A&D client facing role 
  • Strong existing network of trade and interior designers
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and approach to building a book of business
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an intuitive, hospitality-driven approach to service
  • Confident communicator with strong organization and follow-up habits
  • Passion for design, furniture, materials, and the luxury home space
  • Self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and excited by a growing, fast-paced brand
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and managing detailed order workflows
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends
  • Physically able to be on the floor for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
