Elixir Acupuncture Center is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Acupuncturist to join our compassionate team in Grand Prairie, Texas. As an onsite role, you will have the opportunity to engage face-to-face with patients, allowing for a more personalized approach to care. • Conduct thorough patient examinations to assess various conditions and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Administer high-quality acupuncture treatments, utilizing both localized acupuncture for acute injuries and comprehensive strategies for chronic conditions.
• Incorporate additional techniques such as cupping and electro-acupuncture based on patient needs and preferences.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain acupuncture procedures, ensuring they feel informed and comfortable before treatments.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including specialists at Hornell Chiropractic, to provide an integrated approach to patient care.
• Engage in staff development through mentoring and educational initiatives aimed at improving the overall skill set of the team and community outreach.
• Demonstrate strong palpation skills and a thorough understanding of human anatomy to accurately target treatment areas.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to medical billing and insurance processes to enhance the patient experience.

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, with a strong focus on acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex information to patients clearly and empathetically.
• Strong multitasking capability and effective time management skills to handle patient appointments and administrative responsibilities.
• Ability to manage a dynamic clinic environment while maintaining punctuality and productivity in treatments.

• Continuing education in specialties such as sports medicine acupuncture or trigger point acupuncture is considered a plus.
• Certification or proven expertise in a specific subspecialty area will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in medical billing and insurance procedures related to acupuncture practice.

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from USD 20 to USD 75, commensurate with experience and expertise, along with opportunities for bonuses based on performance.
