Skin Elixir Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatology Physician Assistant (PA) to join our expanding team in Austin, Texas. The successful candidate will work onsite at our modern facility located in Austin, Texas, an area known for its vibrant culture and community spirit. The clinic operates within a hospital setting, providing access to a plethora of resources and a multidisciplinary support team. Our hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balance between professional and personal life.

• Conduct thorough patient examinations to assess skin conditions and establish appropriate treatment plans.
• Document all clinical patient interactions meticulously in line with clinic protocols, ensuring that patient records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Order and interpret laboratory results, such as blood tests, as needed for effective patient management.
• Perform various dermatological procedures including injections, mole removals, and minor surgical interventions with precision and care.
• Educate patients and their families on skin care practices, treatment options, and self-management strategies to help them take an active role in their health.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the Medical Director regarding clinical matters and any staff suggestions or concerns.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and support staff to optimize patient flow and minimize wait times.

Our clientele encompasses a diverse range of patients experiencing various skin conditions, from acne and eczema to skin cancer screenings and cosmetic dermatology requests. The ideal PA will be sensitive to the unique needs of each patient, demonstrating empathy and professionalism while delivering high-quality care.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution is required.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, particularly within a dermatological or similar healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other computer applications relevant to patient management.
• Strong command of the English language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The candidate should be capable of working autonomously while also being a dependable team player.
• Ability to follow both written and oral instructions accurately.

• Prior experience in dermatology or a closely related field will be highly regarded.
• Experience with patient education and counseling is advantageous.
• Familiarity with dermatological procedures and a keen interest in ongoing medical education will enhance your application.
