Job description

Elite Transportation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Regional Transportation Manager to oversee the logistics and operations of our transportation services in the Midlands of SC. In this role, you'll manage transportation teams and ensure seamless, on-time scheduling for Rider and Member trips to and from our Day Centers and medical appointments. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee vehicle and driver compliance over all locations in your regions
  • Oversee all vehicle maintenance in your region Approve PTO for dispatchers and fill in when they are absent
  • Ensure that dispatchers are Coordinating and managing daily transportation schedules to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Arrange and oversee MODIVCARE Will Call trips, ensuring compliance with outlined requirements.
  • Validate and approve trips while monitoring Transportation Specialist time worked on a daily basis.
  • Finalize time cards weekly and communicate PTO and training hours to payroll.
  • HOST weekly transportation operations calls and provide operational feedback.
  • Address Rider complaints in compliance with MODIVCARE requirements, gathering necessary documentation.
  • Log and report vehicle maintenance concerns, coordinating with mechanics as needed
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, including early morning, late evening, and every other Saturday dispatching.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous transportation dispatch experience (preferred), especially in medical or senior transportation.
  • Clean driving record (required).
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical (required)
  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • Experience working with older adults or individuals with specialized care needs (preferred).
