As a Elite Security Officer - Level III Armed Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism and sound judgment. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
  • Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
  • Complete accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrols, incidents, observations, and other assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
