Security Officer – San Diego

Elite Security & Staffing is hiring licensed Unarmed Security Officers to work exciting events and venues throughout San Diego County, including the Del Mar Fair, San Diego State University, Petco Park, and other premier client locations.

Position Summary

As a Security Officer, you will help provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, vendors, staff, and clients at a variety of events and venues throughout San Diego County.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, clients, and vendors.
  • Maintain a professional security presence through standing and walking patrols.
  • Conduct bag checks and enforce venue policies regarding prohibited items.
  • Protect client property and assist in maintaining a safe environment.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns according to company procedures.
  • Observe, report, and document incidents accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and venue staff.
  • Make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must possess a valid California Security Guard Card.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide required employment documentation.
  • Must complete all required company and state-mandated training.
  • Must have reliable transportation to assigned worksites.
  • Must be dependable, professional, and flexible with scheduling.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Visible tattoos on the face, neck, or hands are not permitted.

Schedule

  • Flexible scheduling based on event and client needs.
  • Day, swing, graveyard, weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts may be available.
  • Hours vary depending on venue and event schedules.
