Security Officer โ€“ San Diego (Unarmed)

Elite Security & Staffing is now hiring licensed Unarmed Security Officers to work exciting events and venues across San Diego County, including the Del Mar Fair, San Diego State University, Petco Park, and other premier locations.

Position Overview

As a Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, vendors, and clients at a variety of events and venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, clients, and vendors
  • Maintain a strong security presence through standing and walking patrols
  • Conduct bag checks and enforce venue policies
  • Protect client property and ensure a safe environment
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies following company procedures
  • Observe, report, and document incidents accurately
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and venue staff
  • Make sound decisions in fast-paced environments
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must hold a valid California Security Guard Card & BSIS training required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must complete all required training (company and state).
  • Must have reliable transportation to job sites.
  • Must be dependable, professional, and flexible.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • No visible tattoos on face, neck, or hands permitted.
Schedule
  • Flexible scheduling based on events and client needs.
  • Shifts may include day, swing, graveyard, weekends, and holidays
  • Hours and rate of pay can vary by venue and event.
