CNC Operators - 1st & 2nd ShiftAbout the Opportunity

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated CNC Operators to join our elite manufacturing team. Shift Information:
  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Competitive shift differentials available for 2nd shift
Position Overview

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC machines including Lathes, Mills, and Grinders. You will work with precision tooling and advanced manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality parts that meet exact specifications. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Primary ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation & Setup
  • Set up and operate CNC Lathes, Mills, and Grinders according to work orders and engineering specifications
  • Interpret and follow complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
  • Set up machines for various operations, including selecting appropriate tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices
  • Program, edit, and optimize CNC machine operations using CAM software and manual programming techniques is a big plus
  • Perform in-process quality checks and measurements using precision measuring instruments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production efficiency and quality standards
  • Collaborate with engineers, quality control personnel, and other machinists to improve manufacturing processes and implement new technologies
  • Maintain detailed records of machining operations, including production data, quality reports, and maintenance logs
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
  • Mentor and train junior machinists, sharing knowledge and best practices
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectivenessQualifications
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience as a CNC machinist in aerospace or related high-precision manufacturing industry
  • Proven expertise in operating CNC machines, mills, lathes, or grinders
  • Experience with high-performance materials such as titanium, Inconel, and other aerospace alloys
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required
