Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with:
โข At least 2 years of relevant work experience
โข Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field
โข Strong written and oral communication skills
โข Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly
โข Proficiency in MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills (lookups, data validation, basic reports, etc.)
โข Ability to create and maintain tracking tools or databases and improve them over time
โข Comfort working with data and systems to solve problems, improve accuracy, and increase efficiency
โข High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
โข Experience in HR processes including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, benefits enrollment, and employee relations highly preferred
โข Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
โข Ability to learn and/or create database tracking systems
Duties and Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
โข Input new hires, process I-9s, and confirm E-Verify authorization status; manage employee status changes and terminations in the HRIS and troubleshoot as needed
โข Administer onboarding, offboarding, and benefits enrollment activities
โข Support employee engagement initiatives
โข Create and maintain personnel files and documentation
โข Maintain attendance tracking database
โข Manage relationships with internal and external partners related to HR operations
โข Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks
โข Coordinate new hire onboarding, including preparing orientation materials and ensuring all paperwork is completed
โข Maintain and update employee records (physical and digital) with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
โข Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
โข Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
โข Assist with planning and organizing employee engagement activities, events, and meetings
