Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with:
โ€ข At least 2 years of relevant work experience
โ€ข Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field
โ€ข Strong written and oral communication skills
โ€ข Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly
โ€ข Proficiency in MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills (lookups, data validation, basic reports, etc.)
โ€ข Ability to create and maintain tracking tools or databases and improve them over time
โ€ข Comfort working with data and systems to solve problems, improve accuracy, and increase efficiency
โ€ข High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
โ€ข Experience in HR processes including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, benefits enrollment, and employee relations highly preferred
โ€ข Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
โ€ข Ability to learn and/or create database tracking systems
Duties and Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
โ€ข Input new hires, process I-9s, and confirm E-Verify authorization status; manage employee status changes and terminations in the HRIS and troubleshoot as needed
โ€ข Administer onboarding, offboarding, and benefits enrollment activities
โ€ข Support employee engagement initiatives
โ€ข Create and maintain personnel files and documentation
โ€ข Maintain attendance tracking database
โ€ข Manage relationships with internal and external partners related to HR operations
โ€ข Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks
โ€ข Coordinate new hire onboarding, including preparing orientation materials and ensuring all paperwork is completed
โ€ข Maintain and update employee records (physical and digital) with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
โ€ข Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
โ€ข Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
โ€ข Assist with planning and organizing employee engagement activities, events, and meetings
