Title: Trust & Estate Attorney
Location: Remote, US
Engagement Type: 3-4 month contract with potential for extension
Hours: Part-time (Up to15 hours per week)
Compensation: $95-$115 per hour, commensurate with experience

Elevate has partnered with a well-established and highly respected trust and estates law practice in Southwest Florida that is known for delivering sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, and wealth preservation solutions to individuals, families, and business owners. The firm has built a strong reputation for providing personalized counsel and maintaining long-standing client relationships through exceptional service and legal expertise.
We are seeking an experienced Trust & Estate Attorney with at least five years of relevant experience to join the firm's Naples, Florida office on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned practitioner seeking a collaborative environment with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Draft and review complex estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
- Advise clients on trust and estate planning strategies, wealth transfer techniques, and asset protection matters.
- Manage trust and estate administration matters, including probate proceedings and trust settlements.
- Conduct legal research related to estate, trust, tax, and probate issues.
- Collaborate with clients, financial advisors, accountants, and other professional advisors to develop comprehensive estate planning solutions.
- Counsel fiduciaries regarding trust administration and estate settlement responsibilities.
- Review and analyze existing estate plans and recommend appropriate modifications.
- Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar or ability to promptly obtain admission.
- Minimum of 5 years of trust and estate law experience.
- Strong experience in estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters.
- Exceptional drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage a caseload while collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality legal work.
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families is preferred.
