Job description

Position Overview

Flatrock-Hawcreek School Corporation is seeking an enthusiastic and student-centered individual to serve as an Elementary Science Specials Teacher for grades 1–6. This non-certified position will provide engaging, hands-on science instruction to elementary students on a rotating specials schedule.

The ideal candidate will foster curiosity, creativity, and a love of science while creating a positive and supportive classroom environment for all learners.


Responsibilities

● Teach science classes to students in grades 1–6 on a specials rotation schedule

● Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging science lessons and activities

● Create a safe, organized, and positive learning environment

● Encourage student inquiry, exploration, and participation

● Collaborate with elementary teachers and school staff

● Maintain classroom materials and equipment

● Follow school policies and procedures


Qualifications

● Preference will be given to applicants who hold or are working toward an education degree

● Experience working with children is preferred
