Job description

Electronics Test Technician
Location: Winter Haven, FL
Pay: $22.00/hour
Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Test Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will test, troubleshoot, and inspect electronic and electromechanical assemblies to ensure products meet quality and performance standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on electronics experience who enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PCBA, unit, and final product testing.
  • Troubleshoot electronic and electromechanical assemblies using schematics and test equipment.
  • Record accurate test results and maintain production documentation.
  • Perform minor soldering, component replacement, and rework as needed.
  • Inspect, calibrate, and maintain test equipment.
  • Follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of electronics production, testing, or troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and other electronic test equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of ESD procedures and electronic assembly practices.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-J-STD-001 certification.
  • Experience with medical devices or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Advanced troubleshooting experience with electromechanical systems.
