Job Description Join a stable, well-established electronics service company where your hands-on repair skills directly keep customers' equipment running. This is a permanent role offering consistent, varied bench work on a wide range of electronic assemblies and components. You'll be part of a small, skilled team that values precision, safety, and doing the job right the first time.

About the Role: You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and reworking electronic assemblies and components, with a strong focus on safe and accurate soldering, de-soldering, and related welding processes. Working from schematics, work orders, and technical documentation, you'll restore equipment to full functionality and ensure it meets performance standards. Your work will help minimise downtime for customers and maintain the company's reputation for reliable, high-quality repairs.

Key Responsibilities: Perform bench-level troubleshooting and repair of electronic assemblies, PCBs, and components using test equipment and hand tools. Carry out precise soldering and de-soldering on through-hole and surface-mount components, ensuring clean, reliable joints. Use appropriate welding techniques and equipment for electronic and light mechanical repairs where required.

Inspect and test repaired units to verify proper operation and compliance with specifications before release. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and repair documentation to identify faults and repair paths. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workbench, adhering to ESD and safety procedures at all times.
