Title:Electronics Operations' Supervisor - 3rdshift

Department:Operations

Location: Liberty Drive, Bloomington, IN

Reports To: Operations' Manager

FLSA: Full time - Salaried/Exempt

SALARY: $50k - $55k annually + 3rdshift differential

POSITION PURPOSE:

PTS Corp is seeking a 3rdshift Electronics Operations' Supervisor for our Bloomington, Indiana facility. The Operations' Supervisor excels at:

  • Motivates and leading the team to meet or exceed the required hourly unit production rate, quality approval rate, incentives, and attendance.
  • Providing effective and responsive problem-solving techniques.
  • Ensuring a safe and secure work environment and conduct necessary administrative duties.
  • Overseeing the nightly operations of the electronics department team.
  • Distributing and monitoring the workload, motivate the team to ensure that the processes of the operations are followed and contributes to the achievement of the activities and production goals .
  • Leading by example in production, process knowledge and safety practices

REQUIREMENTS:

Job Qualifications:Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED, 5+ years of supervisory experience, successfully implemented continuous improvement initiatives, effective communication skills, work effectively in a multi-task environment, knowledge of all procedures utilized within the department, organizational skills, ability to work in a proactive manner, aptitude on Predictive Index indicative of the position, computer literate and experience with multiple ERP systems.

DUTIES (include but not limited to):

Essential Duties:

  • Develop and maintain an efficient and motivated production work force.

On a daily basis, organize workload throughout the department to maximize efficiency and meet company

goals

Ensure department shipping system is updated with current software

Monitor individual and team productivity, and drive continuous productivity improvement through process

enhancements and one on one coaching.

Research and resolve pick and ship reported errors, and initiate efforts to prevent reoccurrence by addressing

the root cause.

Train new hires and existing employees on processes and procedures, as needed.

Provide department, productivity and efficiency reporting.

Maintain a clean, safe and organized production area environment in accordance with department standards.

  • Open or close the building at the beginning and/or end of assigned shifts, or outside normal working hours, as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  4. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs

WORKING HOURS:

Generally, M F 8:30pm 6:00am per shift assignment with additional hours as necessary to meet production demands.

Salary: $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 annual salary paid weekly, + 3rdshift differential.
