2026 Salary Range: $89,508 -$138,370 Yearly (Includes locality pay)

To develop and implement innovative strategic initiatives that reduce duplication of effort, integrate customers and suppliers, and drive commonality and standardization across the enterprise. The commodity councils will leverage purchasing volume for procurement, repair, refurbishment, and/or availability of items that promote operational efficiencies and streamline sourcing processes consistent with and in support of the sourcing initiatives and goals of the 448 SCMW's long term strategic plan.
The Enterprise Robins Commodity Council develops and implements innovative strategic initiatives that reduce duplication of effort, integrate customers and suppliers and drive commonality and standardization across the enterprise. The commodity councils will leverage purchasing volume for procurement, repair, refurbishment and/or availability of items that promote operational efficiencies and streamline sourcing processes consistent with and in support of the sourcing initiatives and goals of the 448 SCMW's long term strategic plan.
Requirements:
1. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
2. Obtain & maintain a Security clearance (if applicable).
3. No PCS expenses will be paid.
4. Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty.
5. May be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours.
6. Basic Requirement: Degree in Engineering from an accredited ABET.
Recruitment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
1. Knowledge of professional electronics engineering concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, materials, and equipment to effectively apply advanced engineering theories, principles, and concepts to project development, execution, and advisory services.
2. Knowledge of development testing and evaluation sufficient to apply experimental theories and new applications to issues and provide technical advice and direction in support of weapon systems, subsystems, and/or support equipment.
3. Knowledge of integrated air-vehicles, ground systems, and support equipment sufficient to plan, design, test, troubleshoot, evaluate, and oversee the development and/or sustainment of electronic systems or devices.
4. Knowledge of the principles of planning and program management; standard acquisition regulations, practices, and procedures; and other engineering disciplines.
5. Ability to devise and evaluate criteria, parameters, characteristics, and interrelationships for design approaches, and to assess the impact of new technology on current systems and processes.
