Job description

Warehouse Associate

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload materials
  • Perform general warehouse duties including picking, packing, palletizing, and staging orders
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities
  • Computer work and reporting (Excel and SAP Business One is a plus)
  • Knowledge of logistic shipping site such as Saia, FedEx and UPS a plus
  • Quality Control of units that are being packed and shipped
  • Palletizing odd shaped units and hand wrap on a pallet
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Conduct daily forklift and equipment inspections; report issues to a supervisor
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
  • Support team members with additional warehouse tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience required
  • Valid forklift certification/license preferred
  • Ability to operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts (based on operational needs)
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic

Work Environment

  • Warehouse setting with varying temperatures
  • Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and walking
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required (Steel Toe Boots/shoes)
