Salary: $20 - $25 / hour

T & E Tester - TSA


Job Summary/Description

ADS is seeking personnel at various skill levels who are available on short notice to provide testing services for several days to weeks at domestic airport locations. Testers must possess or be able to acquire the licenses, permits, skills and resources required to provide testing services as a qualified On-Call Tester. This position may be based in different locations with an expectation of 100% travel.


Examples of Skills levels / titles are as follows:

  • Junior: Data Collector / Tester
  • Senior : Team Lead


Minimum Qualifications

  • High School or Equivalency for Junior level roles / Bachelors Degree for Mid and Senior level roles , commensurate with experience
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years experience working in an airport setting with TSA.


Responsibilities


  • Responsibilities vary depending on the role, and may include any of the following.
  • Conduct testing and evaluation of various types of checkpoint and/or checked baggage security equipment (e.g. Explosives Detection Systems (EDS), Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT), Advanced Technology 2 X-rays (AT2), and Credential Authentication Technology Boarding Pass Scanning System) and the screening process (Pre-Check and standard lanes)
  • Determine effectiveness, efficiency and productivity using qualitative analysis and quantitative research technique
  • Evaluate the outcomes of projects, programs and/or plans to ensure achievement of objectives
  • Determine benchmarks and metrics for monitoring program effectiveness Performing risk assessments on security detection systems
  • Collect data that helps our client understand more closely how their IT system can be improved in functionality and performance to increase their bottom line and effectiveness.
  • Performed Testing Support Services at airports on new and emerging technologies
  • Provide human factors analysis of systems from public and operator positions (Team lead)
  • Provide trends and observations on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) (Team lead)
  • Perform complex testing and coordination of inline system (Team lead)

  • Testers are required to follow TSA and all local guidelines regarding Covid-19 Safety requirements.
  • Clean driving record - Preferred
  • Familiarity with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Transportation Security Administration (TSA)
