Electronic Controls Technician (Nights)Villa Rica, GA | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3-2-3 Schedule$35.00–$48.50/hour (includes shift differential)

Join a stable, industry-leading manufacturer as an Electronic Controls Technician supporting highly automated production equipment. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong electrical troubleshooting skills and experience with industrial controls and PLCs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and modify PLC and PC-based control systems (Allen-Bradley, Omron, Eurotherm preferred).
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and automation systems, including AC/DC drives, motor controls, relays, circuit breakers, and power distribution equipment.
  • Support and maintain manufacturing equipment such as flexographic presses, slitter rewinders, extrusion equipment, dryers, and related production machinery.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and use diagnostic tools including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and calibration equipment.
  • Perform electrical installations, equipment upgrades, conduit installation, wiring, and system modifications.
  • Assist with equipment startups, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues and maximize uptime.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical and automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial control systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and perform advanced electrical troubleshooting.
